5.2 Stockpile - Ghost Iron ore

( I was meaning for this to be the post for today, but I can't get blogger to post to a certain page for some reason without posting to the main first...Sorry for any inconvenience!)

5.2 is right around the corner, most are speculating its release within the first two weeks of March. This would put it on Blizzard's schedule of content release so I am not going to argue! I was looking around on the interwebs to see what other people are stocking up on and ghost iron ore seems to be the go to item as of late. This is for good reason!

The changes to Blacksmithing in 5.2 - Blacksmithing Training Projects will allow a character level 85 and above to level BS to 500 using only Ghost Iron Bars!

New Vanity Items, Engineering Pets and Lightning-Forged Weapons:

There will be a ton of ghost iron used in the crafting of these new items. I suspect the price of living steel will skyrocket as well, seeing as we will need between 2 and 9 to craft each of the Lightning Weapons, 15 for Pierre - the new Eng Pet and 30 for a new eng mount.

I recently made a guild bank to store my stockpile. (* if your making a guild bank, make sure you tell the people who sign your charter that you will pay them AFTER it is formed. Remind them that it will be a personal guild bank for your bank toon as well. - If you just give them the money when they sign they can just leave the charter or delete the character if they made a level one forcing you to have to find another player to sign and hopefully stay signed. *)

I bought all the tabs and currently have one filled with ghost iron ore, and half of another with bars. I plan on having at least 2 filled with ore and 2 with bars - I am also xmuting some trillium bars with left over bits of ghost iron. I plan on filling at least one tab with Trillium bars for resale and living steel usage!

My prices are as follows - Your server may vary and I would suggest not putting all your eggs in one basket..but I might be insane. LOL

60 gold per stack of Ghost Iron ore - I ask in trade for cods as well via macro!
120 gold per stack of Ghost Iron Bars

In total I have spent around 7k give or take on my current set up. Make sure your prices are as low as you can get them!

I will give some updates as I continue my stockpile!
